Just as I begin to get excited about Fall returning, New York Fashion Week wraps up their Spring/Summer 2016 shows. I can't help but take a look back at some of my favorite shows I watched...front row of course! (JUST KIDDING - live streamed them which I highly suggest for all of you in the future!) So here are some of my New York Fashion Week favorites!
I always have loved her designs because they always seem to be so timeless. It's also an added bonus considering that her point of view is amazing through American fashion. The whole time I watched this show I felt that Spring/Summer vibe through the structured details and flowing colors. Every look that entered onto the runway complimented the last one & I loved that. It seemed that everyone who went to this show that I'm friends with on snapchat had such lovely images really highlighting Lela's designs whilst simply featuring that elegant hanging floral piece above the runway.
LELA ROSE SS16:
Although I don't think I can see my self walking out of the house in these looks, this show was so fun & kept me on my toes the entire time! Where do ideas like that come from and how to you make them collaborate like they do? Amazing. If you have ever seen a picture of the designer, Betsey, her smile is so great and you can kind of relate those crazy designs with the look her glare gives you! Enjoy!
BETSEY JOHNSON SS16:
This show had a look for everyone and for each type of personality that these outfits fit into they each established Spring/Summer 2016 so well. I love the massive amounts of little details that make these designs what they are. Simple but so intricate at the same time props to Tory Burch & I can't wait to see the way these looks are made into their own in the near future.

Riccardo Tisci brought Givenchy's runway from Paris to New York on Friday and it didn't disappoint. This was the last show I watched on Friday and what a way to finish it. It was so elaborate but you could still interpret the over feel Givenchy had as a whole. Each look flowed so well to the next from silk with a tiny bit of lace, to a lace dress, to forming that lace into dark floral - I loooved it. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of these looks on red carpets to come.
A wonderful week it has been...I'm so happy I tried to become apart of it as much as I could. I hope you enjoyed this post and please tell me your favorite looks or comments on this post! NYFW isn't finished though; especially not when Calvin Klein is tomorrow! Have a great rest of your week!
(Just in case you wanted a picture of my reaction when my favorite designers debut their new collections!)
