Surprise! I got a new layout and I'm so excited! It was definitely time for a change & especially with all these new things coming, a new platform was necessary.
I'm still struggling to find that perfect outfit that allows me to fulfill my fall loves in terms of fashion but then not die of heat stroke considering it's 86 degrees outside. So....
...I found this navy tee simply hanging at Gap and it looked like a must have because of all the ways I can wear it and all the things I can wear with it. It's perfect for transitioning from Summer to Fall because of the color but also because it's light weight & loose fitting. Bracelets are probably my favorite thing to wear with loose tops like these so I took two of my favorite gold ones...gold + blue = love.
Lastly, this outfit not only transitions from season to season well, it also has the same effect in terms of taking things from day to night. Paired with a backpack by day & blue tote in the evening, I love this look and all it's possibilities!
While you're here you should check out my new Fall Survey to the right as well as the Fall 2015 page to read all those wonderful articles Vogue & many others have to offer. Hopefully the rest of your day goes well and you find some real Fall steals in the near future!

It's officially September and it's officially almost Fall! I'm so ready for my favorite season of them all and also so excited to get back into the swing of things! I feel like every blog post I've read in the past week has been relating to matters of apologies for trailing out at the end of Summer, back to school stresses or probably the most common, early wake up calls. Today we're going to talk about anything but those things and discuss to what's to come. Basically what we have to look forward to - we all need to do this every so often.
My favorite season, Fall is currently in the works & will be here soon! So ecstatic and interested in what this new season will bring, I can tell you some of the things I know will be here & can't wait for. Typical, riding boots. I always wait to wear them until at least a jacket is necessary or else you're going to be scorching in them. Waiting to wear them makes the time more special when it comes. As is Christmas music, so please (kids in my classes)...just hold it out until mid-October!
Anyways, the way they fit with just about any outfit, define that fall feel and tie it all together has me on my toes for this future Fall season. You can defiantly expect a post when I break out my new ones this season!
Another thing that I'm already loving and still looking forward to - Friday Night Lights! Just another solid Fall happening that I love. We had our first game last Friday but the way the sun made me sweat really has me looking forward to those big sweatshirts and bonfires after! Such a fun excuse to wear your favorite team hoodie + leggings tied together with cute boots & a bow!
Then, we have Halloween and my friend and I already have our plan in place, but that's going to be a blog post too so we'll see that when it comes! Start thinking now and you'll thank yourself later...!
So many things on my calendar for this season that i'll be blogging about so stay tuned. Fall is obviously my favorite so I'm going to be on here in full swing and maybe even doing more pairing with some of my other blogging friends!
I hope you all are enjoying being back to school a teensy bit or at least excited for what's to come. This time of the year is always a struggle to get back into the swing of things and scrounge for some added motivation, but by stopping to see what's in front of you and what's to look forward to will make a difference! Happy Fall & I will see you Thursday!
P.S. here's some extra pics from this Summer because I'm still reminiscing.
(Disney Land, Friends, Reds Meet & Greets, Cheer & One Direction Concert!)
As I write this my family is driving home from a soccer game to then come pick me up and go...school supply shopping. This feeling in the gut of my stomach is making me feel dull, just like no emotion, no excitement, just that cloudy thought of school hanging over my head. I basically just did what every person you talk to about those back to school blues tells you not to do. Oh well, next week i'll be be doing my back to school must haves and one of the posts I have been awaiting to do all summer, the One Direction concert post! That will be up Wednesday, August 19th! Hopefully those things to look forward to eliminate those gruesome thoughts that I seemed to of composed in my mind.
Anyways, as the Summer does come to a close I'm checking off my last few Summer bucket list items and as I do that, i'm wearing all my end of Summer favorites!
This outfit was prefect for last night because the blue looked great along with the pretty sunset in the back. It also was a teensy bit chilly and the long sleeves really did the trick. I've always been a lover of some nautical wear and this skirt really accomplishes that, plus it's fit and form is really do-able, comfortable and complimentary! This bag has been featured on my blog before and I feel zero shame having it appear again because it matches perfectly, plus adds some detail with the flower. The only part about this look that I would love to hear your feedback on would be accessories! Funny story, my purse is actually stuffed with optional necklaces for this look and money for food. What more could you need? ;)
Emma here is wearing a Summer outfit that never fails, the romper! I love rompers so much & especially because they really do go well from day to night and that's exactly what hers did last night. You can pair a romper with anything from your favorite Jewelry, all the way to a cardigan. Her black and white patterned romper also looked so complimentary with the sunset. Patterns and solids always stick out in such an impacting way that I love.
Share with us your feedback on our looks or even your summer looks that you love! Live up these last few days of Summer and don't let those thoughts get you down, think of the good first! Thanks for reading & i'll see you all next week!
Bag: Charming Charlie's
Yes, I called them crop tops but not! It is true! These shirts check off so many of my necessary summer must haves! I love simple shape, but yet the statement that its shape makes. I love the loose fit of these, how they really work with you and aren't your everyday typical crop tops that show your stomach and fit tight. Two subjects I never really considered classy...on me. ;) I especially love the exact area they end which has this neat trick that makes your legs look long - especially paired with your favorite leggings!
I think this really is a different outfit for me and different is good! Typical saying said by myself yet again but I think switching it up and throwing your everyday people for a loop is fun. Obviously sticking to your personal guidelines to stay you is a must, but show them just how great you can be, through all sorts of new fashions.
This outfit is also just so different for me considering I dropped one of my everyday accessory - braces! Goodbye!
I love new things and this style of outfit is definitely new for me. Recently I've seen way too many, and bear with me here i'm just going to rant for a second, people who are dressing their everyday selves one day, then switch to a totally new entourage the next.To me they are not throwing their everday people, for what I called earlier a "loop"...they are trying to create that "new me" chapter. I personally do not think a new you can develop over night, but hey as Shailene Woodley said best, "You do you and i'll do me!"
Hopefully this post served as an advocate for difference and learning to love it but also, something that I am always emphasizing...staying true to you.

This Summer i've seen so many trends..some i've loved, some not so much & some that lasted and then some, not so much! It seems like the trends have been all over the place & especially this Summer!
Just when I thought I had it with an anchor on my shirt and nautical vibes on my shorts, that over powering "70's" wear came in. You know the, denim on denim, so called "hippie" look and those high wasted jeans. Not to exclude the Military prints and fits that have made their mark on the latest fashion as well.
I think with this many trends it's hard to choose a favorite or a best one because there's so many points of consideration and factors that you have to take in. Some reasons being that there's all sorts of different groups that wear each style also, you could not particularly like a certain style, fit, brand, material, etc because of the fit on you. That fit could be pulled of excellently by someone else out there who loves the look.
I'm in love with the massive amounts of crazes in fashion happening right now. Lot's to someday look back on and each individuals style has a relevancy to relate back to themselves and their being which I also love.
Take a look at this link I found which really supports a lot as to what I stated above. Who am I kidding...a good vogue read never let's you down!
Happy Tuesday & have a wonderful rest of your day!
Hello everyone! After two weeks away from the blog I am beyond ready to get back into the everyday swing of things and especially share my trip to Newport Beach, California with you! Hopefully you saw my California Day 1 Post and that was just to kind of to solidify my trip and create a base for the rest of my California posts.
For the whole two weeks that I was there I did so much, ate so much, and honestly fell in love. Like i've said before, I have visited California plenty of times but I think as I get older each time I visit it gets better and better. Stay tuned tomorrow for my post pertaining to outfits that I saw the most and the outfits that I loved the most. California people really do it right in my opinion when discussing outfits and pairing and a lot of the things that you see trending here, started out there - especially music! A song I was listening to on the beach was two months "old" so said my Cali friend!
This post will serve as a wrap of the things that I did on my trip with pictures, captions and descriptions! I hope you all get the chance to visit this wonderful place someday!
This was one of my favorite days...really made me feel like a kid again! We paddle boarded and let me tell you it is not as easy as it looks! My arms were definitely pretty tired after this exertion and only became more tired because we paddled all the way over to the floats on the back bay. To give you a description as to what they were they were almost like mini Wipeout courses. In the second image you can see them closer to the shore in this back bay picture. Super fun but definitely super exhausting.
I would say that this was one of my favorite days as well but considering all I did was eat that day, probably shouldn't. I had one of my favorite things ever, In-N-Out, went to the beach and then came home only to get ready for dinner and my new found love, Stacks. Stacks is what you're looking at in the center picture, heaven but really you pick two cookies and your favorite ice cream to smash in the middle. It was so good, so so good. Since all I pretty much did that day was eat, lay out, then eat some more I felt as if I had to do something active so we simply bought tons of glow in the dark stuff and went for a 10:00 run. Pretty fun to glow & run! :)
I'm a sucker for lazy days and pretty views & that is exactly what this day involved. Nothing to write about here, just the sights to see and the cool sea breeze to feel. (Oh gosh that was cheesy.)
Looking for sea-glass and hiking was what this day involved! The title pretty much says it all, sea-glass is the glass that washes up from the beach but it is coated by the salt water which makes it change color and smooth the edges. Lot's of people on the West coast look for it in the mornings so we joined in! Some people whom are really serious know the rarest colors along with the rare shapes, sizes, etc. Although we didn't get too serious it was still very interesting and enjoyable! The last picture taken through my snapchat had to make an appearance into this post because number one, it's the prettiest ice cream I have ever seen and number two, it's Baskin Robbins.
Today was my favorite day. First of all because we were shopping and second because we were shopping on Fashion Island. The name says it all. You can see that their "Island of Fashion" is amazingly extravagant considering their is a Ferrari Dealership plus other stores that we want into but I didn't want to intrude by taking pictures. It was like New York City all over again, Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus all the way to Urban Outfitters, JCrew, etc. Love. We then opted for a super fresh lunch at, Eureka! It was so modern & rustic I loved it, especially the little plants on each table!
Who needs a description when Disneyland is involved. Here's a wrap up, so many smiles, so much sparkle, so much fun...so I guess you could call it the happiest place on earth! ;) I truly loved it and i'm 16. It never and will never get old. It takes you back to you childhood loves, dreams and makes you imagine like nothing else! I actually think it was beneficial to go at this age because it makes me think of my future and my dreams and how much you want them! If one man named, Walt Disney can do all that then so can I - so can you!
Our last day was spent at the beach. Just the way I preferred because it's a great way to just relax and take in your entire trip. The waves were giant that day and the sky was blue so I really just loved taking it all also with a walk down the pier to my favorite diner, Ruby's.
That was some of my favorite adventures in California! We were there for 14 days but I tried to keep this post limited to my absolute favorites! I hope you all enjoyed my trip documentation and I cannot wait to see you tomorrow when I discuss the things I noticed while out there in terms of clothes, food & just ways of life! Different, unique and just the way I one day want to live!
I hope you all are having a great Summer and had a wonderful Fourth of July! Lastly, congrats to our Women's Soccer Team last night! :)
I am beyond ecstatic to officially be in California! I honestly feel like this is my home away from home, I just love it so much!
I'm here for awhile so I cannot wait to see what these next few weeks hold but today we started off in a simple mindset by heading to the Huntington Library & Gardens. Very different and something that doesn't come to mind when you think of California but it was honestly beautiful and it was so nice to see some of my much older relatives happy. It was also a really good first day activity in terms of leisure and appealing views since I'm still tired from yesterdays flight, not to mention the 3 hour time change!
I kept the outfit really simple and chic with my white 3 quarter sleeve tee & my navy scalloped shorts. I knew it was such a busy and dense area, simple colors would be more defined rather than patterned prints.
I hope you enjoy these pictures of my simple outfit along with the not so simple pictures & views! Much more to come!
feat. my Sister Ella & cousin Scarlett!
We then had a late lunch and honestly, the best ice cream i've ever had! I would love to share the name for you and your trips in the future but, I was too into the ice cream to catch the name...so sorry. Yum!
And lastly, please enjoy this photo of some of my family & I pushing up our Great Uncle, up this "great" big hill! :)

Hello all! I hope you're having a great summer so far and a great weekend! I spent the majority of my weekend at Ohio University touring & visiting! I loved it and will seriously consider it for my future! Hopefully your summer is filled with fun, friends and...food! In honor of my trip to California officially a week away I started thinking about my essentials in the sun, traveling, going out and all of those categories really fit into the topic of, "Summer Essentials!"
I am so excited to introduce Graces & Fashions first partnership! This is one of my best friends, Emma! Her summer style is really relatable, accessible and of course, fashionable! I thought she was the perfect person to partner with for my Summer Essentials post! We went out this evening and of course, took some pics on the way with a few outfit changes in between! So here are our Summer 2015 Essentials!
First, when traveling one of my favorite component to an outfit is my Longchamp. I have talked about my love for this bag before and now it just fits right in! The structure is one of my favorite characteristics about it whilst also loving the space in it and look of it! Not to mention, all the color options when selecting your Longchamp are great key components to base your nails color off to really tie your look together!
Next, in the summer I think it's crucial to be yourself, especially because you're not in school with a bunch of other people's influences on you. In the summer you can do what you love and be with the people you like as well! Of course a key part in being yourself would be representing your favorite brands! Wear what you want, how you want to wear it and where you want to where it. For some of my favorite things would be my Louis Vuitton clutch that holds my everyday essentials with my Ray Bans propped on my head for looks and their sole purpose, to block the sun! Emma's Lilly Pulitzer shorts really show her personality which I described earlier paired with her casual white tee! Each are little things we love for our looks! Who knew just simple pieces of your outfit could describe a little bit about you - perfect for Summer!
Let me know your favorite Summer Essentials through the Contact Page form submission or through our social media which can also be found on the Contact Page! Lastly, don't forget to check out my friend Emma on all her social media as well! Tweet her - @emmahauserman
Keep living your Summer to the fullest along with all of your favorite Summer Essentials!

I woke up today on this Monday morning at 10:00...finally feels like Summer! Notice I said feels like Summer...here in Cinci it's been cloudy all day so it doesn't necessarily look like Summer. My outfit sort of resembles todays cloudy feel, with the blues that combine really well with the floral on my shorts and those florals really give it a defined Summer feel. My cross body bag also has a little flower on it too, I love simple details like that!
Someone reached out to me through the Contact page and asked me to describe my Summer mornings! I thought this was a great idea for a blog post because I think Summer mornings could always use some ideas or inspiration! I know I am definitely guilty of waking up, eating breakfast and then going straight to the couch for hours of TV time! Really make you summer worth it by going places, doing things with friends or getting creative. Some easy teenager things to say for an excuse to go back to the couch would be, "can't drive" "friends?" "money?" "artistic abilities?"
Instead of assuming or clarifying so quickly go try, start small and you'll get more in depth with more ideas!
This morning I woke & up ate...Rice Krispies, got dressed, applied makeup and headed to Starbucks with my sister! It was really nice because it was just the two of us. All sisterly arguments aside, I do enjoy one on one time with her sometimes because 12 year olds like herself live somewhat interesting lives... :) After Starbucks I reached out to one of my best friends to see what she's up to and we're headed out to root for the U.S.A. tonight with our families downtown and then afterwards she and I are seeing Insidious 3! (Please wish me luck, sort of scared!)
A fun Summer can lie ahead of you, you just have to make efforts and push yourself to a day of activity, we all do! Summer comes off as this time of fun but it really is what you make it, so make it memorable!
As always, Happy Summer & I will see you tomorrow!
Good luck U.S.A. Women's Soccer as they face Australia tonight!
Cross Body Bag: Charming Charlie's
Sandals: Target (similar below)
Earrings: Kate Spade
*As always I include the requested pieces so if there is something you like but do not see attached please let me know through the Contact Page!
It's summer everyone!
My polka dot pants are nothing but fun and this sweater was perfect because it actually is a little chilly here in the nati! I love color combinations that make an outfit bright and unique. Yellow + navy really does the trick!
In a recent article I read, they were talking about how polka dots never go out if stye and especially in the spring so these pants were perfect! Also I bought this sweater a little small to really make my pants have that "mom jean" effect in the front without having to wear mom jeans. Even though that 90's era wear is really coming back, I will never be able to convince myself that they're fashionable. You could really pair any solid color shirt of your choice with this look!
To top off this outfit I added my favorite sandals to modernize the look, I call it...the Kendall Jenner. I love experimenting with all sorts of fashionable aspects that are trendy right now! It makes you an avid individual and fashionable all wrapped into one!
It has been kind of chilly here in the anti but Summer's here so keep smiling everyone!
Pants: Old Navy
